Le Locle, Switzerland, 18 October, 2017. Tissot, the number one Swiss Traditional watch brand, will be lending its expertise to the 18th Asian Games Jakarta Palembang 2018 as Official Timekeeper. For the first time in Asian Games history, two cities will co-host the event. It will take place in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta and the capital of Indonesian province of South Sumatra, Palembang, from August 18 to September 2, 2018.

Tissot and the Asian Games share values such as tradition, precision and passion. Like the watch brand, The Asian Games, held every four years, have a rich history dating back to 1951, representing the oldest and most prestigious event in the calendar of the Olympic Council of Asia. Gathering the highest number of participants worldwide, it is the largest multi-sport Games. Athletes from 45 NOCs will have the opportunity to show what they are made of in the 67 various disciplines.
